Juventus ready to go again: first friendly engagements set

Having put behind them the bittersweet experience at the Club World Cup, which ended with the’elimination in the round of 16 at the hands of Real Madrid, Juventus is ready to get back to work, after the break, ahead of next season, in which Igor Tudor and his men will face, in addition to the league and the Coppa Italia, the’engagement in the Champions League.

The doors, specifically, will reopen on Thursday, July 24, with the resumption of training at Continassa. The Bianconeri technical center will also be the venue, on Saturday, Aug. 2, for the first summer friendly, which will see the Bianconeri pitted against Reggiana, a Serie B side, in a match that will be played behind closed doors.

The first half of August will also see Juventus engaged outside the Italian borders: on Sunday 10, in fact, the Old Lady will travel to Dortmund to face Borussia, while three days later it will return to Turin, this time at the Allianz Stadium, for a test against the Bianconeri’Next Gen formation, which plays in Serie C.

Juventus is coming off an up-and-down season, in which it nonetheless won the minimum goal, Champions League qualification, finishing ahead of Roma by just one point. Since March 23, it has been led on the bench by Igor Tudor, who took the place of the exonerated Thiago Motta: the Croatian coach was confirmed for next season on the eve of the Club World Cup.
