Men’s Italbasket coach Gianmarco Pozzecco has chosen the Azzurri for Training Camp 2025, which will be held in Folgaria (Trento, Italy) from July 23 to 31 and also with the Trentino Basket Cup (Aug. 2/3) will open the preparation ahead of the European Championships, which will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 14.
Simone Fontecchio will join the team on July 30, while Danilo Gallinari will join his teammates at the end of his commitments with the club. Donte DiVincenzo has been invited by the federbasket to join the group and take part in training sessions also starting July 30.
The technical staff has also included Achille Polonara among the available athletes who, although unable to respond to the summons, remains an integral part of the Azzurro group. Also on the same list is Darius Thompson, who has expressed to the CT his willingness to wear the Azzurri jersey as soon as there is an opportunity.
