Ozzy Osbourne is dead, farewell to heavy metal legend'heavy metal

Ozzy Osbourne, legendary frontman and co-founder of Black Sabbath, died today at the age of 76. The news was given by his family.
Central figure in the history of rock and heavy metal between the 1970s and 1980s, Osbourne had revealed in 2020 that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
Last July 6, he was back on stage for one last moving concert in Birmingham, England, along with the other members of the original Black Sabbath lineup: Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.
Osbourne left an indelible mark on music history. His unmistakable voice, charismatic stage presence and natural flair for showmanship marked the evolution of heavy metal, helping to define its dark aesthetic and aggressive sound.
