In the press conference on the eve of the three-day Belgian Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton already looks to the future by talking about the changes to be made at Ferrari in 2026.

“I have been in the factory several circumstances to attend meetings, including with Elkann and Vasseur and the heads of the various departments. We talked about the next engine, my directions for next year by drafting a document in which I indicated the items where to work”.

“We talked about the areas to improve, the developments of the 2026 machine and all the things to work on for 2026. And maybe we’re pushing too hard, added Hamilton, who then moved on to the narrow focus, which is how to deal with the Spa-Francorchamps circuit and the subsequent races this year.

“I am happy to have seen changes made, and there has been a lot of work in the factory. We will try to take advantage of that every weekend. We didn’t test at Mugello, we had a filming day. The feelings? The same as the weeks before.”

“We will be able to test the suspension tomorrow, and by testing it on various tracks we will be able to arrive at benefits. The good thing about Mugello is having brought new things, while other teams brought small updates on different weekends,” concluded the seven-time world champion.
