A wonderful Chiara Pellacani wins the bronze medal at the World Diving Championships, being held in Singapore, in the one-meter springboard category. The European champion finished with 270.80 points, preceded by Australia&#8217s Maddison Keeney with 308.00 and China&#8217s Li Yajie, silver with 290.25.

“It’s a special medal – admitted the 22-year-old from Rome -. I celebrated with a good, liberating cry that comes from emotion because between the bad days and the good days the preparation for the world championships was long and difficult. I am glad that the work done came out”.

“I dedicate this special medal to my family, with mom staying here, the federation, my clubs and the team who have always supported me. I approached the final quite calmly having clear my goal”.

“I was yes determined but without too much pressure and that was the right way. The day was very long between eliminations from the meter, team event and then the final. Sunday break, I recharge and we start again with a lot of enthusiasm and ambition” concluded Pellacani.
