Nick Kyrgios, broadside to Lorenzo Musetti to attack Jannik Sinner

Nick Kyrgios returns as Jannik Sinner’s hater in a new social post, in which he also put Lorenzo Musetti and Daniil Medvedev in his crosshairs. The organizers of the Washington tournament launched a poll days ago on the smartest and most astute player on the circuit, involving several tennis players in their survey.

Lorenzo Musetti answered “Jannik. And I don”t think I need to explain it” and Medvedev also mentioned the Blue’s name. Kyrgios jumped at the chance and below the post commented: “Sinner is an outrageous person to mention right now” adding the emoticon of laughing faces.

Just a few days ago, the Australian tennis player had harshly criticized the return of athletic trainer Umberto Ferrara to the Blue’s staff: “He has been playing us all for fools”, he had written.

Sinner is keeping well clear of this controversy: he will return to the court in Cincinnati to prepare as best he can for the US Open, with the goal of defending his title and world number one spot at least until the end of the season.
