Gianluigi Donnarumma is one step away from’farewell to Paris Saint-Germain: negotiations for the Italian goalkeeper&#8217s contract extension with the Parisian club have been blocked for some time, and the situation does not seem to be budging. From France come increasingly consistent rumors about the’purchase of Lucas Chevalier by the French and d’European champions.

According to Footmercato reports, PSG has reportedly closed negotiations with Lille for the 2001 class, currently Maignan’s deputy in the France side, for about 40 million euros. Executives of the Parisian club want to avoid another Mbappé case and are ready to sell Donnarumma as long as they do not lose him on a zero-parameter in a year’s time.

The Italian goalkeeper, a major player in the Champions League victory by Luis Enrique’s team, is being followed by Chelsea, Manchester United, Galatasaray and several Arab clubs. With one year left on his contract, he is valued at 40 million euros.

Donnarumma has also been approached by Italy, with Inter and Juventus interested, but at the moment only in the window due to a question of cost, especially the player&#8217s prohibitive salary.
