After losing to Cameron Norrie in his opener at the Washington ATP 500, Lorenzo Musetti is ready to start again at the Toronto Masters 1000, in which he is the third seed in the seeding and will debut with qualifier James Duckworth, world number 106.

The match between the Blue and the Australian is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, as the second match on center court. Opening the program at 6:30 p.m. Italian time (12:30 p.m. local time) will be Holger Rune and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Between Musetti and Duckworth there is only one precedent at the ATP level and it smiles on the Australian. In fact, Duckworth overcame the Carrarino in three sets (6-3 3-6 6-3) in the second round of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000.

“I was able to recover well from the’injury that affected me quite a bit in Paris,– Musetti told Sky Sports microphones. “Now I feel good physically and that is the most important thing. Washington did not go as I hoped, but on this surface I need more time to adapt”.
