After the historic gold obtained in the mixed synchro with Matteo Santoro and the bronze struck in the 1-meter springboard, Chiara Pellacani gives herself another medal at the World Diving Championships in Singapore.

L’Azzurra hit the bronze medal from the 3-meter springboard with 323.20 points, preceded only by China&#8217s Chen Yiwen (389), who had already won at the world championship in Fukuoka, and Chen Ja (356.40). Tenth was Elisa Pizzini with 280.80 points.

“I am very excited about this medal because I was really looking forward to it – admitted the 22-year-old from Rome. I have been chasing it since fourth place in Paris. To see the Italian flag among the Chinese ones is an’indescribable emotion. We have done a long preparation, we have been working hard continuously, we know the value of the team and individuals, but the reality is exceeding expectations”.

“The results repay the sacrifices and fuel our ambitions; now we enjoy these successes and I will go back to work for the Los Angeles Olympics always with the same goal. Behind the medals is a great team, harmonious, hardworking, supportive, competitive” concluded Pellacani.
