MotoGp, Dr. Costa freezes: ‘Very sad moment’
Dr. Costa’s words after MotoGp stop at Mobile Clinic: “We saved dozens of lives”
Dr. Claudio Costa confessed to La Repubblica his disappointment over the closure of the Mobile Clinic in MotoGp: “We saved dozens of lives. One of the first was Graziano Rossi, Valentino’s father. And then Virginio Ferrari, Franco Uncini. I lost count. So many kids, emotions. It was like an altar, where we brought back the heroes: the warriors who had just fought on the track and maybe found themselves next to each other, wounded, but ready to go back to pursue their dreams.”
“Those were unrepeatable seasons,” the Clinic’s founder continued, “We saved lives and helped in the birth of myths. On those beds, among the medications, we shared incredible emotions, friendship and so much love. It is a very sad moment, I feel sorry for a great professional like Dr. Zasa, that was ‘our’ creature – of us Italians – and to see it in the hands of other people hurts.” In its place, according to rumors, the Spanish Quironsalud, which already collaborates with Italian doctors.
