Turin, Alieu Njie stops again

There is no peace for Alieu Njie. The young Torino striker, who has just returned to the group after missing the training camp in Prato allo Stelvio due to a calf injury, stopped again in training due to a muscle problem.

This was announced by the same granata club through a note published on its official website: “The player Alieu Njie underwent instrumental investigations that showed a partial distractive picture of the left ileopsosas muscle. The prognosis will be defined according to the clinical evolution of the injury”.

Njie recently renewed his contract with Torino until June 30, 2029. He made his Serie A debut in the granata jersey last season in the victorious away match in Verona against Hellas’Hellas.

On October 25 also came the first goal in the top league, against Como: a decisive goal, which allowed the granata to win 1-0. A total of 17 appearances and one goal for him in his debut season with the first team.
