Alisha Lehmann goes to Como, after Juventus Women welcomed her for just one season. The Swiss striker has built up a great deal of notoriety in recent months, even beyond her performances on the field as evidenced by the 17 million followers who follow her on Instagram. The change of jersey is, however, due to a desire to carve out more space for herself on the field as well.

In recent weeks Lehmann has expressed to Juventus her desire for a more central role in an otherwise ambitious project. This will be the case for Como Women, as active on the soccer market as its male counterpart despite a different ownership. In fact, behind the Larian women are not the Hartono family, but the American fund Mercury/13.

Juventus, having gathered Lehmann’s will, agreed to let her leave while also assenting to Como as a new destination. The Bianconeri club in this way can also plan its next season by putting an’additional foreign female player in its sights. In fact, the slots available after the Swiss player&#8217s farewell to Como become three in all. And they should soon be filled with high-level reinforcements.

Alisha Lehmann herself, however, undoubtedly has a desire to make more of an impact on Italian women&#8217s soccer than she has done so far in Turin. Her one season at Juventus ended with only 610 minutes played, two goals to her credit and one assist made. Little for his ambitions, which at this point should find a new outlet in Como.

The feeling was that Juventus Women wanted and could bet more on her, as evidenced by the two goals she scored against Zurich in a recent friendly held in Vinovo. Here Lehmann had celebrated the feat with a ’fisherman” exultation that had made the rounds of the web, not enough, however, to revive her odds in bianconero. For the next joys, one will have to look to Como.
