Cambiaso takes down Borussia Dortmund: Juventus expels Signal Iduna Park

Juventus’ excellent response after the disappointing draw with Reggiana (2-2) in the first outing of the season. At the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, in fact, the Bianconeri beat Borussia Dortmund by a narrow margin (2-1) thanks to a brace by Andrea Cambiaso.

It took only a quarter of an hour for Juve to take the lead: on 16′ Kalulu from the right crosses towards the center finding Cambiaso who beats Kobel from two steps. Three minutes later ovation for Mats Hummels, who in his d’farewell game to soccer, is replaced with Sule.

At the start of the second half, the Azzurri outfielder signed the double for the Bianconeri with a powerful diagonal pass on a delightful invitation from Yildiz.

In the final, the hosts shortened the gap with Beier, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

Juve thus gets its first victory in a friendly match: the next one is set against Juventus Next Gen in a family test on Wednesday, August 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
