Historic Minardi Day: tickets on sale, new record in sight

Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola, Passion returns to the track on the occasion of the 9th edition of Historic Minardi Day, which promises to be a record both qualitatively and quantitatively with the shifts on the track close to soldout.

The event conceived by the Minardi family, in collaboration with Formula Imola, is ready to rekindle the passion of the thousands of fans (in 2024 there were more than 17,000) who, thanks to the tickets (daily – season ticket – VIP the latter reserved for over 16 years old with access to the Pit-Lane and parking Paddock 2) already available on TicketOne will be able to access the most exclusive areas of the plant living as protagonists the event. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Minardi Team’s Formula 1 world championship debut, which took place on April 5, 1985 at the Jacarepagua circuit in Brazil at 9:30 a.m. during the first free practice, through unprecedented merchandise that can be purchased at the racetrack.

In the fifteen rounds scheduled for each day, extraordinary Formula 1 single-seaters that have written memorable pages will take turns on the track, including the Tyrrel P34 and P34B, Lotus 72 E/5 and TYPE 91, Ferrari, Fodmetal, Shadow, Wolf, Moteverdi, Williams, March, McLaren, Arrows, Merzario and, of course, the Minardi just to name a few (the entry-list is constantly being updated). There will be no shortage of Formula 3000 cars such as the Reynard, Lola and Ralt, F2 cars that forged great champions including the 1979 Chevron B48 former Siegfried Stohr, the 1977 March BMW 772 and the 1983 Minardi M283B-BMW, Formula Junior, Formula Italia, Formula Abarth, Formula Ford, GP2, Lucchini Alfa Romeo type Prototypes, SR2, P392 with the iconic Martini Racing livery, GT, GTS and Historic GTs such as the 1947 McLaren M1C Can-Am, Porsche 993 3.8 RSR, Alfa Romeo TZ Le Mans Classic of 1964, De Tomaso Pantera of 1973 the unfailing Lancia Delta Integrale 1989, Mercedes 190E 2.5 16 Evo DTM, also thanks to the important and decisive contribution of Scuderia Nuvolari Italia up to the most modern Ferrari 296, McLaren, Lotus, Porsche, Maserati, Alfa Romeo for a parterre that satisfies all the tastes of the fans. Scuderia del Portello Alfa Romeo will be in the spotlight with nine jewels from its Alfa Romeo Historic Racing Dynamic Museum including the Formule Alfa Boxer and Tatuus Monza, the Giulia TZ, 75 Superturismo, GTV2000 , 33 CIVM, two GTAm models and the exclusive Belinetta Effeffe. Also on the track the extraordinary supercars and hypercars born from the inspiration of Horacio Pagani, Lamborghini, Dallara, Juri Pambuffetti (PJ01) and the Mazdas. These are just some of the cars featured at Historic Minardi Day 2025.

The intense program of the ninth edition of Historic Minardi Day is also enriched by the ACI Storico Festival that will have as a dynamic moment, on the day of September 14, the Raduno Terre di Romagna, organized by AC Ravenna. An event also made possible by the valuable collaboration of (in alphabetical order): AC Ancona, AC Bologna, AC Ferrara, AC Firenze, AC Forlì, AC Modena, AC Pistoia, AC Ravenna and AC Rimini. Rich, as per tradition, the program will include the departure from the Imola Autodrome of the 100 registered crews, with a passage to Faenza to visit the Racing Bulls F1 Team, and then return to the track for the parade and closing of the event. On Sunday 14, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m., Gian Carlo Minardi will meet the press for an open discussion. It will be an opportunity to take stock of the event, share reflections on the current state of motorsport and tell about future prospects and projects. On Saturday 13, during the track photo with all the protagonists (1 p.m.), the “Nando Memorial” award will be presented. Lots of entertainment in the Paddock area with professional simulators, model-making, automobilia village and exhibitions.
