Jannik Sinner wants to break taboo: Felix Auger-Aliassime warned

After a two-set victory over Adrian Mannarino, Jannik Sinner will play for access to the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters 1000 against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, number 23 in the seedings and 28 in the world rankings.
The Blue and the Canadian have already faced each other twice and on both occasions Auger-Aliassime prevailed: the first time in the round of 16 of the Madrid 2022 Masters 1000, the second time in the very round of 16 of the ‘Cincinnati Open‘ of the same year.
“I have never beaten Auger-Aliassime, here in 2019 we had a very tough match: I had a match point, but it was a great challenge – admitted the world number one in an interview with Tennis Channel -He has a lot of potential, especially when he serves well, and it will be very difficult, but I honestly look forward to facing him”.
“I like these challenges and I hope to reach my level, because if I want to play well against him I have to improve my tennis. We will see what happens: the quarterfinals are the concluding part of tournaments and I like to be in those settings” concluded Sinner.
