The end of the market is approaching, and Inter is trying to put to good use the cash that has come in through disposals by netting some targeted signings. The Nerazzurri are looking for another defender, and in recent days the name of former Juventus player Renato Veiga had been mentioned.

A name to be taken off the list, because the Portuguese player is about to become a Villarreal player. The Spanish club due to serious injuries to Kambwala and Logan Costa had to go back on the market, and decided to target the 22-year-old from Chelsea.

The deal would be closing for about 30 million euros: Inter will have to look elsewhere for its reinforcement in the backroom.
