Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the “Adriatico – Giovanni Cornacchia” Stadium in Pescara will host the Open Day, between Pescara and Cesena, which will kick off the 94th edition of Serie BKT.

The league’s new claim “100% Italian passion” will accompany the teams throughout the season to enhance the authenticity of soccer, made of tradition, emotions and deep ties with the territories. It is the pride of historic squares, the warmth of the fans, and the enhancement of young talents that make Serie BKT unique in the football landscape, where sport constitutes an aggregative and identity-building experience.

These are the key features of the Serie BKT.

For the occasion, in the presence of Lega Serie B President Paolo Bedin, Pescara Calcio and LNPB have organized a special ceremonial during the pre-match as a march towards the kick-off whistle.

In particular, flags will be set up to represent the twenty clubs that will take part in the 2025/2026 championship and a space dedicated to music and entertainment with an engaging deejay set. Then, Pescara-based tenor and singer Piero Mazzocchetti, who also boasts a 3rd place at the 2007 Sanremo Festival, will perform the Italian Anthem to celebrate the national identity that has always distinguished the league.

Even the entrance to the field will be special with players being accompanied to the midfield by children dressed in the kits of the 20 teams participating in the championship.

For the occasion, the official track that will accompany the league events from this season will also be launched, an unreleased and dedicated track written and performed by Eros Cristiani, a pianist, author and composer, who has worked and collaborates permanently with many Italian and international artists, that embodies the liveliness and’energy of the league.
