F1 Dutch GP: Piastri on pole over Norris, Verstappen third. Ferrari improves but not enough

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has taken pole position in the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix d’Netherlands: the Australian driver took his fifth career pole with a time of 1:08.662, ahead of teammate Lando Norris, second by a few thousandths, and reigning world champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull).

On the second row with the Dutchman is the surprising Isack Hadjar of Racing Bulls, on the third row is the Mercedes of George Russell and the first Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver was five hundredths ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari gave timid signs of improvement but is far from the best.

Also among the top 10 are Liam Lawson, Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso. Andrea Kimi Antonelli is outside the 10, 11th. Behind him the’other Red Bull of Yuki Tsunoda.
