Oscar Piastri feels sorry for Lando Norris

These are the words of McLaren’s Australian Oscar Piastri at the end of the victorious Dutch Grand Prix, which increases to 34 points his lead in the drivers’ standings over teammate Lando Norris, who retired when he was second in the final stages of the race.
“It feels good obviously. I controlled the race when it was necessary, in the end it was unbelievable bad luck for Lando however I was always in control. When it was necessary I used all my speed”.
“I am very happy with all the work I did to improve here, I am satisfied to be back on the first step of the podium. I didn’t do anything special compared to last year, I just tried to improve wherever I could.
“At the beginning of the weekend it seemed like a tough idea, in qualifying I put it all together and I am very happy with the pace I had today. Despite the safety cars I managed well, kudos to the team, they were magnificent as well. There is still a long way to go”.
