When does Jannik Sinner play at the Us Open: background with Felix Auger-Aliassime

Jannik Sinner is back in the semifinals at the Us Open after a brilliant derby victory over Lorenzo Musetti in the quarterfinals. In the penultimate act of the New York Slam, the world number one will face Felix Auger-Aliassime, number 25 in the seeding and 27 in the ATP rankings.
The match between the Blue and the Canadian is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5, no earlier than 7 p.m. local time (1 a.m. in Italy, when it will already be Saturday, Sept. 6) on the Artur Ashe Stadium of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center: it will follow the previous meeting between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Sinner and Auger-Aliassime have already faced each other 3 times on the ATP circuit with the Canadian holding a 2-1 advantage: the last challenge, however, was a domination of the Alto Adige’s who won with a resounding 6-0 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the last Cincinnati Masters 1000.
More distant Auger-Aliassime victories, both achieved in 2022: the first on clay in the round of 16 of the Madrid Masters 1000, the second on concrete, in the round of 16 of the Cincinnati Masters 1000.
