So, with a smile on his lips, Marc Marquez commented on his second place in the Catalan Grand Prix. The Spaniard in the standings is 182 points ahead of his brother and 250 ahead of Francesco Bagnaia.

“I did my best but Alex was really fast today. In the first few laps I was able to push well and did what I wanted, then things changed and by the last lap I was on the limit, I didn&#8217t want to fall. That&#8217s okay. I am happy for Ducati, for Alex and for me”.

This was Alex’s retort, celebrated by his older brother and the home crowd. “Today I felt ready and I said to myself, you have to make it, but if it doesn’t go, at worst I’ll come second. However I had a very good pace and in the end I succeeded. I am really happy”.
