Massimiliano Allegri, disqualification and fine after Milan-Bologna ejection

The sports judge has decided to impose a one-day disqualification and a 10,000-euro fine on Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, who was sent off during the match with Bologna.
“For having, at the 45th minute of the second half, disrespectfully criticized the’work of the Var, after the notification of the expulsion measure he blatantly contested the Fourth Official”, reads the operative part of the ruling.
The Rossoneri coach will therefore not be on the bench for the next Serie A match, scheduled for Sept. 20 away at Udinese’Udinese.
“There’s been the penalty episode and at that moment I had a disagreement with the 4th man. No big deal, luckily the jacket saved me”, Allegri had commented in the heat of the game.
