Juventus, misses penalty kick in evening-delirium

In the new night of delirium of Juventus, which was down by two goals to Borussia Dortmund and caught up with the Germans thanks to two goals scored in mid-recovery, there is also room for one recrimination: the men of Igor Tudor, who will have to fix the defense but can be happy with the temperament of his men, miss a penalty kick that appeared obvious.
In the 34th minute, on a corner kick taken by Yildiz from the left, Kelly tried to hit a header but was anticipated by Anton, a Borussia Dortmund defender. The German intervenes late, jumps uncoordinatedly backwards with his right arm raised, and touches the ball with that very arm. The ball then bounces chaotically before ending up with David, who kicks from an offside position.
French referee François Letexier then interrupts the action for David’s offside, without noticing the earlier hand touch. However, Anton’s intervention is so obvious – clumsy, with his arm well above his head – that it is surprising that there was no review at the VAR presided over by’the other transalpine Jérôme Brisard.
The only possible explanation for not awarding the penalty would be an alleged foul by Kelly on Anton in the aerial action, but from the images this hypothesis is unconvincing.
