San Siro, Beppe Sala rattles Inter and Milan fans but not only
Mayor of Milan Beppe Sala is back to talk about the future of San Siro: “This decision will condition the future of Milan: I don’t feel like saying anything more to anyone, this matter has exhausted me but I know I have a clear conscience because I have put all my competence and determination. I do not want to make any more predictions, it is up to everyone”s conscience.
“Marotta? I do not think it is a threat – added the first citizen -, clear that it is possible for teams to leave Milan but I believe that at this point the Council should decide independently. I have a clear conscience and I have done everything that needs to be done. In the decision the councilors have to evaluate a number of things, it is clear that at the basis is the contract and how it was drawn up. And then there’s the future of Milan”.
Europeans Chapter: “This morning I met with Michela Uva, Uefa’s executive director for social and environmental sustainability, to take stock of the 2032 European Championships. They will be awarded in’October 2026 to either Italy or Turkey, although Italy honestly is favored. In the dossier you have to indicate the five stages. For the situation today, the risk is that there is no Milan. That said, that I am in favor of the stadium and have fought to keep the stadium in Milan, and that I believe the’agreement is a good one, is on the record and in the facts.
