Juventus is ready for the treacherous trip to the field of Villarreal (today, 9 p.m.). After the pyrotechnic domestic opener with Borussia Dortmund, Tudor’s team is called for a quick redemption against the hostile Spanish formation where former Bianconero Renato Veiga plays.

Tudor expects an Old Lady very aggressive but also capable of maintaining the right balance on the field. In attack, Yildiz confirmed, it should be David, little used in recent outings, at the center of the Bianconeri’s attack with Koopmeniers closing out the trident.

The Dutchman, also disappointing in this start of the season, is expected to play behind David, in a role similar to that of a trequartista (as against Atalanta), thus, definitely further forward than the position he usually plays on the field. Tudor believes that by bringing him closer to the goal, he may be able to unlock it. A goal from the former Atalanta man could really help him change pace.

In fact, it&#8217s a bit of a last chance for Koopmeiners. His performance is not satisfactory. Tudor is working hard on the player&#8217s head. A big game, perhaps complete with a goal, would be needed to remind him that he is a midfielder of the highest quality. The Bianconeri fans hope that he will be able to find himself again today, against Villarreal. So far, the 27-year-old midfielder has scored five goals in 50 appearances with Juventus (zero this early in the season).
