Danilo Gallinari says no to Trapani: he has already decided his future

Trapani president Valerio Antonini revealed that he tried to sign Danilo Gallinari, without success. “We thought and negotiated, talking with the dad, about Danilo Gallinari. We made a big offer, we were told to wait for the’European Championship” revealed Antonini after the championship game against Trieste.

“But from what Gallinari’s dad said, probably Danilo would like to quit or at least make the last months in the United States of America, also because his wife is waiting to give birth in the U.S. and he doesn’t want to move”, Antonini said.

“He has thought about it – continued the Shark top executive -, but from what we have been told in the last few hours it seems that he will not come to Trapani, despite the fact that ours was a very important offer, both to come immediately and from February, in line with what he earned in Europe”.

“It would have been a big blow, especially d’image. Danilo Gallinari is an outstanding top player. But I think we can”t force when the conditions are not there to make the transfer”.
