After the match at PalaSerradimigni against Varese Openjobmetis, Dinamo coach Massimo Bulleri spoke in a press conference: “It is a game that did not end the way we wanted and hoped”.

“We didn&#8220t start with the right nervous approach and we conceded too many easy situations to Varese, also sinning in inexperience in our exits on shooters. Their three-point percentage was one of the keys to the game. However, I liked the spirit shown in the second half: we went under, reacted and even managed to go ahead. We wanted a different game emotionally, unfortunately we did not succeed”.

On defense: “The emotional and nervous approach was not the right one. Once a team gets into a rhythm it becomes difficult to take it away from them, and they succeeded for the entire 40 minutes. We have to reflect on how we started the game. The 102 points scored show an interesting side of our offensive potential, but we need to better manage individual responsibilities in the defensive half of the court”.

On the tactical aspect: “The way we started, we were forced to review our attitude and manage our rotations differently. The big recrimination remains just the initial approach. It is still early to make overall judgments, we are not satisfied but we must hold our heads high and continue to work with determination”.
