The match between the German and the American is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. on the indoor concrete of “The Venue” in Riyadh. The winner will face Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals. Next, no earlier than 8 p.m., it will be Jannik Sinner’s turn to oppose Stefanos Tsitsipas.

There are 14 previous matches between Zverev and Fritz with the American holding a 9-5 advantage after winning the last 6 matches: twice in the Laver Cup (2024, 2025), in the final at the 2025 Stuttgart ATP 250, in the semifinals at the 2024 ATP Finals, in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Us Open and in the round of 16 at Wimbledon 2024.
