“What happened after Motegi is unacceptable and almost indescribable”: Pecco Bagnaia exploded after the weekend in Australia, closed with a fall. The Piedmontese rider seemed almost embarrassed on the Ducati, confirming the’incredible downturn that came after the summer break: “What has happened since Austria? I can&#8217t answer that. I would rather go beyond that. We know it is a difficult year and that something is not right in our results. We are trying to figure it out and it is not easy. What I can do is to always give 100 percent: in Japan it was to win the race, here it was to be able to fight to be in the top-10. Hopefully in the next race it’s fighting for the podium.”

Team principal Davide Tardozzi to Sky replied to his driver: “The thought is always to help Pecco, he&#8217s the only one we have. I finished talking to Pecco no more than 10 minutes ago: we have ideas and there&#8217s no rift”, assured the Ducati executive.

“Something we will try for Sepang, whether we will find the solution I can not tell you, but I have great confidence in our technicians and in Pecco”, continued Tardozzi, who then admitted that the competition of the se rivals is growing sharply.

“We know that the competition has grown, like Aprilia, but also the other brands”.
