MotoGP: Marco Bezzecchi Isn’t Satisfied and Speaks Candidly About His Goal

Marco Bezzecchi heads into the MotoGP Australian Grand Prix with great enthusiasm following his victory in Indonesia. The Italian Aprilia rider secured his fifth win of the season in the main race, making up for his crash in the Sprint race in the best possible way. This important result confirmed the rider from Romagna’s excellent form, and he’s ready to be a key player once again at the Phillip Island circuit, home to the 18th round of the World Championship.
“I’m really happy to be heading to Phillip Island. It’s a real shame that this will be our last time there, but I’m truly happy to be back on the bike. I can’t wait, especially after the wonderful Sunday we had in Indonesia,” Bezzecchi said on the eve of the Australian Grand Prix.
The 4.45-kilometer Phillip Island circuit is one of the most fascinating on the calendar. Located in the state of Victoria, it winds along a cliff overlooking the ocean and features five right-hand turns and seven left-hand turns. Its characteristics make it particularly challenging, especially due to the speed of the sweeping turns and the often unpredictable weather conditions.
Bezzecchi wants to build on the confidence gained from his victory in Indonesia to maintain his position among the leaders, without losing sight of the importance of teamwork. “As always, we’ll try to do a good job together with the whole team, be competitive, and have fun,” added the Italian rider.
The Australian weekend will also hold special significance: it will be the last time MotoGP races at Phillip Island before moving to Adelaide next season. Bezzecchi hopes to bid farewell to the historic circuit with another top-level performance, continuing his particularly strong run.
