Stihl Timbersports World Championship in Milan: this is it

The wait is almost over, the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship 2025 is finally coming to the Allianz Cloud in Milan to give the passionate audience a breathtaking show with the world’s best athletes.
Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, in fact, the Allianz Cloud Arena will host the best wood heroes on the planet for two days of breathtaking challenges. 3,000 spectators are expected each day as 120 of the world’s best athletes from 20 nations will battle it out in a two-day, high-intensity event.
The Allianz Cloud Arena will be the venue for two days of high intensity competition.
EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m., the spotlight will be turned on the World Team Championships, a knockout competition where the best national teams will compete in the four iconic disciplines of Stock Saw, Single Buck, Underhand Chop and Standing Block Chop.
For Italy, the lineup will consist of Italian champion Michel Perrin, Andrea Rossi and Alessandro Ciaponi, 2024 and 2023 national champions respectively, Michael Del Pin, Alberto Fumagalli and Mattia Puecher. The home champions will try to give the current world title holders, the Australian team, who are aiming for
tenth consecutive title.
On Saturday, October 25 at 8 p.m., the world’s 12 best wood heroes will take the stage at the Allianz Cloud for individual competition, competing in all six STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines (Stock Saw, Single Buck, Underhand Chop, Standing Block Chop, Springboard and Hot Saw) in a three-round elimination format.
The eyes of Italian fans will be on Aosta Valley’s Michel Perrin, who will represent the home crowd and compete against some of the greatest international talent, such as American Nathaniel Hodges, 2024 World Champion in Toulouse.
The title of STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® 2025 World Champion is on the line. Only the best will win.
