Nicola Brienza: "Won carefully"

Nicola Brienza celebrates the success over Cremona. “I am extremely happy with this victory,” says the Canturino coach. “We put great attention on everything we had prepared. We knew we were facing a confident team that would come to Desio to play a swaggering game, and so it was. We, however, compared to the two away games, were good at staying on the ball even when they found some tough baskets in series. We had put the focus on rebounds, knowing that they are a team that shoots a lot from three and it could have given us advantageous situations on mistakes. Everyone put the right focus on that.”
“Now we have another important away game against a direct competitor and we have to reset, recover our energy and try to manage well the moments of the game even when we play away from Desio,” adds the former Trento player talking about the Sassari challenge
“It was a good team victory, we all contributed to this result,” Xavier Sneed argues. “It was two very important points for us, also because we were playing at home. The coach had prepared the game very carefully and we were good at following the gameplan. I am satisfied with my game, I struggled a bit in the first few days but I am getting into the right rhythm. The most important thing though is for the team to get to the result.”
