Jannik Sinner, Paul Cané now gets angry: "I hear too much"

Tennis in Italy is becoming more and more popular thanks to Jannik Sinner, and Paolo Canè in an interview with Fanpage.it did not hide a certain annoyance at what is happening: “I talk little about tennis lately…I always follow it and I root for the Italians, but I hear too much of it and too many people”.
“I want to keep that positivity that I have since I was a boy, with the simple things. Not always, for every thing that comes up about Sinner, Musetti or that concerns Italian players, female players or the tennis world in general, you have to read rivers of responses from people I honestly don”.
Cané also got fed up with the chatter over Sinner’s no to Davis Cup: “Because at the end of the day the ‘Sinner’s product; gives everyone a chance to talk about tennis, and I don’t like that. Because then a lot of people talk bad about it and use his name to say negative things, when you should only talk good about it. His was a choice. Then they say they already knew about it for a year–it’s his choice, what do you want to tell them? And it’s a good thing they then go against him and he wins every week. Imagine if he lost in the first round, what they would do to him”.
According to Cané, Sinner a little bit’suffers from external pressures: “He doesn’t externalize them, but all the comments and external pressures come at him, and eventually that’s when he gets cramps, he physically freezes. He is a guy, a human being, who hides very well because he is a champion, but he also has weaknesses”.
