Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia spoke after the MotoGP free practice session closed in second place in Portimao and expressed satisfaction with his feeling with the bike, even though there was no shortage of problems in the first session: “In the morning we made the wrong choice of front tire, we were a little bit in trouble because I couldn&#8217t get grip and I tended to widen the lines a lot, especially in the entry to the corners I could never slow down well and let the bike go”.

All’different music in the afternoon: “It’s better, even with the hard front I felt pretty good. In the end, the time attack came out well: in the first one I didn&#8217t get 100 percent, there were still some drips, the second one was good”, smiled Pecco.

Alex Marquez, however, remains ahead of everyone and is for now the number one favorite ahead of the Sprint race and qualifying for the Portuguese GP scheduled for Saturday: “He&#8217s superior at the moment, he&#8217s going stronger than the others. We are in the group that goes from second to sixth place”.
