Ben Griffin makes it three in Mexico, Francesco Molinari also smiles

Ben Griffin makes it a trio in Mexico: the U.S. golfer won the World Wide Technology Championship in Los Cabos joining champions such as Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy as the number of titles won in 2025. It is in fact the third tournament won in the calendar year, following the Zurich Classic and the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Griffin finished ahead of Chad Ramey and Sami Valimaki with a score of -29 under par.
Italy’s Francesco Molinari finished in 27th position: it is his best result on the PGA Tour in 2025.
“After a few birdies in the beginning I pushed a little harder – commented Griffin. “It was fun to feel the nerves on the last few holes and be able to hold off the opponents. Nice to close with a couple of decisive putts”. Griffin rose to No. 9 in the world rankings, his best finish ever.
