C'is also an Italian coach for the post Pep Guardiola

Ten years could be enough and at the end of the current season the paths of Manchester City and Pep Guardiola will probably part, with the British club looking for a replacement and with the Catalan coach ready for a challenge, perhaps on the bench of a national team, immediately after the World Championships that will be staged in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
The first names for the succession are already beginning to circulate, and from the Spanish press come three of them, with the caveat that in the Citizens’ house they are in no particular hurry, given the nebulousness of the situation but also the need to make a more than considered choice.
In the running there would also be an Italian coach, Roberto De Zerbi, who is currently in France leading Olympique Marseille but who abroad (in addition to his Romanian parenthesis as a footballer at Cluj) has also gained experience in Ukraine, at Shakhtar Donetsk, and in England, at the helm of Brighton.
Of Vincent Kompany, now at the helm of Bayern Munich, but long at City as a footballer, also Pep’s orders (the Belgian remained there until 2019 and had arrived in England in 2007, ed.) and Andoni Iraola, who is already working in the Premier League, at Bournemouth, the other two best-placed profiles, at the moment, in the race for a legacy that is, to say the least, heavy.
