World Cup playoffs: Italy's possible rivals, Sweden's nightmare is real

Norway is celebrating, after 28 years, a World Cup pass. Italy, having filed the victory with Moldova, is already thinking about the playoffs in March. Next November 20, in Zurich, the Azzurri will know their play-off opponents.
As known, the play-off semifinal will be played at home next March 26. To date, the stadium that will host the play-off has not yet been decided. Three possible options are rumored: Bergamo, Torino (Stadium) and Udine. The final, on the other hand, scheduled for March 31, it is not yet known whether Italy will play it at home or away (it will depend on the draw).
In contrast, there’s already a list of Italy’s possible opponents for the semifinals, and some of the names are causing anxiety. First and foremost, watch out for Sweden, which, at the moment, is the number one nightmare, not least because of the precedent that sealed Italy’s elimination, then led by coach Ventura, from the 2018 World Cup.
They will be the team that will be in the semifinals.
Then there will be one between North Macedonia and Wales and two between Northern Ireland, San Marino, Romania and Moldova. After the final day of the group stage, we will know all four possible rivals for the semifinals and, next November 20, the name of who we will go up against to grab the final playoff spot. Sweden represents, at the moment, the public danger number, to be avoided also for superstitious matters.
