Gonzalo Quesada smiles: recovered Michele Lamaro for Chile
After the defeat to South Africa, men’s Italrugby prepares for the test match against Chile, the third and final fixture in the Quilter Nations Series. The Azzurri will face the South Americans on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 9:10 p.m. at the Ferraris Stadium in Genoa with live coverage scheduled on Sky Sport and Rai channels.
The team led by Gonzalo Quesada will continue preparation in Turin with training sessions scheduled on Monday, Nov. 17, Tuesday, Nov. 18 and Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Cus Torino facilities. The departure for Genoa is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20, while Friday, Nov. 21, the Team Run is scheduled at 11:45 a.m. at the Ferraris Stadium.
In the Azzurro group, in preparation for the last friendly match of 2025, a return to the call-up list for Michele Lamaro, who is back at the disposal of Italy’s technical staff after being injured in Udine in preparation for the match against Australia. Invited to take part in the gathering is Giovanni Montemauri, Zebre’s opening halfback.
