Max Verstappen believes. The Dutchman in 2024 celebrated winning his fourth world championship title in Las Vegas, a year later he returns to Nevada having to make up 49 points from driver standings leader Lando Norris. A decidedly complicated feat, but one that the Red Bull Dutchman wants to try to keep in his personal sights for as long as possible.

“In Sao Paulo there&#8217s been a really special race for us – said Verstappen -We thought a podium finish wasn&#8217t even possible, so to get there represents incredible proof of Red Bull&#8217s strength and our desire to never give up. Now we are about to experience the last hat trick of races of the year, we have nothing to lose and we will continue to always give it our all”.

Verstappen then focused on the characteristics of the Las Vegas track, which will host the Grand Prix of the same name on Sunday at 5 a.m. Italian time. “The circuit is fast, and it has a particularly low aerodynamic load – noted the Red Bull champion -. Among other things, temperatures seem quite low this week, an aspect that will make tire management”.

It is then impossible not to remember what happened a year ago, with the winning of the fourth title in a row that took place precisely in Las Vegas. “Winning the world championship right here is a beautiful memory. Last year we were able to party, our hope is that we can put on another level performance in 2025”” concluded Verstappen.
