Jose Mourinho will do without Dodi Lukebakio for three months

Also in trouble for Jose Mourinho’s Benfica: Dodi Lukebakio will have to undergo surgery after being injured while engaged with the Belgian national team.
“Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that player Dodi Lukebakio has suffered a fracture in his left ankle. The player will undergo surgery and begin the recovery process,” the club in the Portuguese capital announced.
The 28-year-old outfielder, whom the Encarnados bought from Sevilla, came on in place of Doku in the 71st minute of the match played (and overwhelmingly won: 7-0) by the Red Devils against Liechtenstein, but then suffered physical problems near the 90th minute and left the field before the final whistle. He will not be back on the field until 2026: there is a stop of at least three months in the pipeline that will certainly not make the Special One happy.
