Heading into Inter-Milan: Cristian Chivu has two doubts to resolve

Sunday night will see the staging of Derby number 250 in history. Inter-Milan promises spectacle and, as always, each of the two teams aims to do everything to bring home the victory. At the moment, the Nerazzurri are first in the standings, alongside the surprising Roma, at +2 just on the Rossoneri led by Allegri. In short, it will be a high-stakes stracittadina.

Chivu is pondering on the’eleven to send on the field against the Rossoneri. As of today, there would still be two doubts to be resolved although the Nerazzurri coach, from his first day, has always “hidden” the chosen lineup until the very last.

The certainty is that Dumfries, Mkhitaryan, Darmian and Di Gennaro, all of whom are in the box due to injury, will not be from Derby. In front of Sommer, Bastoni, Akanji and one between Acerbi and Bisseck (Chivu’s first doubt) should act.

On the flanks, room for Dimarco and Carlos Augusto, the latter clearly ahead of Luis Henrique to take the place of the injured Dumfries. In midfield, there will obviously be both Barella and Calhanoglu and one to choose between Zielinski and Sucic (Polish midfielder favored). No doubt about the starting attacking pair with Thuram returning to pair with Lautaro Martinez. Thu-La to knock out the Devil.
