Dominik Paris updates on his condition after scare

Dominik Paris updated on his condition after a scare during a giant slalom training session Monday at Copper Mountain. The champion Blue, in fact, suffered a sprain to his left ankle, impacting into a door.
The tests to which he underwent, fortunately, ruled out injuries: “I am in good spirits and in the end there is nothing broken– he told the official channels of the Italian Winter Sports Federation -, and when it is like that it is just a matter of being patient”.
“Of course, it hurts a little bit and that is why I do many hours of treatment. We will have to evaluate day by day how it will go with the treatment” concluded Paris.
The 36-year-old Carabiniere from Val d’Ultimo on Tuesday remained at complete rest, as directed by the medical staff. He will be re-evaluated ahead of next Thursday’s super-G at Copper Mountain, the first fast race on the calendar.
