Pistoia, Seneca Knight apologizes but fine arrives

Not enough of the seventh knockout in the last eight games, Estra Pistoia found itself dealing with the nervousness of one of its players, l’American Seneca Knight, author of a gesture towards the fans that the club itself has defined “serious” just on the sidelines of the home game lost to Avellino and that, as confirmed on Thursday by the white and red club, will be subject to an internal sanction.

“Pistoia Basket 2000 Ssd Arl announces that, as a result of what happened at halftime of the Estra Pistoia-Unicusano Avellino match, the member Seneca Knight will be subjected by the club to the maximum fine provided by the team rules for this type of episodes” reads the club’s note.

“The player, aware of the seriousness of the gesture, decided to make spontaneously already in the hours immediately following the end of the match a short video to publicly apologize to all the Red and White fans, which you can find on our social channels” then specified the same club.

In the video, Knight apologized to the club and its fans, speaking of “inappropriate gesture”. The basketball player then added: “I am a positive person, as many of you have seen in recent weeks. I will continue to work to improve, this situation will not be repeated. I thank you for your understanding”.
