Martina Trevisan makes a prediction about the Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz duel.

Will the Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz duopoly become a monopoly? Or will there never be one player completely dominant over the other, and will the balance of the last two seasons remain, with the two young stars sharing all the Slams? Martina Trevisan in an interview with claytenis tried to answer these questions and also about who will have a better career between the two champions: “They are very different. Jannik has an incredible technique and mentality. Carlos has more variety in his game, more imagination when he plays. To figure out who will go farther between the two of them, we have to consider some factors”.
“First, we have to see how their bodies react over the years, and then how they handle pressure and situations, because they play a lot and usually get to the bottom of tournaments. It’s a difficult question, and at the moment it’s hard to give an answer. I can say that I love them both, they are different personalities on the same court, and this is good for tennis and for the whole movement”. L’Azzurra also commented on the forfeit of the two players in the Davis Cup: “I don’t think it was a mistake, there are many tournaments during the year and those who don’t know this life can’t understand everything we face. We are lucky to live this life as an athlete, but it is not as shining as it seems”.
Trevisan explained how it is crucial to manage one’s physique to the best of one’s ability and to choose carefully the participations in the various tournaments: “There are a lot of sacrifices and a lot to manage mentally. At the end of the year you have to listen to your body and your mind and decide what is best for you. For me, playing for Italy is always a privilege and a dream, but every player is different and timing is important. For example, Lorenzo Musetti (another tennis player who withdrew from Davis ed.) and his girlfriend Veronica are expecting a baby, it is an incredible moment and it is important to be there”.
Martina Trevisan also spoke about the golden moment of Italian tennis, and her friend Jasmine Paolini: “It is fantastic. They are the result of incredible work done in the previous years. The Italian Federation has helped us a lot. It is the result of important work done previously. I really believe that Jasmine can be a Slam champion in the future. Last year she came very close. I wish her to win a Slam, but it is not easy. On concrete, when one serves well, it is difficult to break. I hope she comes as close as last year, but you cannot just say ‘You will win a Slam'”.
