Sergio Ramos has no intention of retiring. The 39-year-old Spanish defender is playing in the ranks of Monterrey, Mexico. His contract is set to expire next December 31. The entourage of the’former Real Madrid star is reportedly already probing the ground to find him a new accommodation.

Beyond the World Cup dream, Sergio Ramos wants to continue playing because he still feels he can make a difference on the field. He would love to return to play in Europe, perhaps experience the Serie A that he has touched on several times in recent years.

He was also reportedly offered to AC Milan who, however, do not seem willing to give him a chance. Sergio Ramos is an excellent player but the Diavolo has already made an’exception with Modric regarding the maximum age.

The Croatian midfielder is 40 years old, Sergio Ramos only a year younger. Two similar elements in the roster could be a problem for the Rossoneri, who, of course, must also think about the future and thus focus on young players. It is difficult for Milan to decide to make a move for Sergio Ramos, precisely because of an issue related solely to the Spaniard’s age. Juventus has also been mentioned, another track that does not seem, for the moment, very hot.
