Pisa, Alberto Gilardino wants more nastiness

Pisa coach Alberto Gilardino has an explanation for the narrow home loss against Parma: “These matches are decided by episodes and so it was in the first half, but in the second half it was a one-sided game: we made 47 crosses, 29 touches in the box, 13 shots but only two on goal. We have to be more bad to take back matches like this”.

However, the Nerazzurri coach tries to look immediately ahead and to the next match-salvation in Lecce against the Salentini on Friday night: “There&#8217s great bitterness, but we have to reset and think that in four days we have another very important challenge and prepare ourselves as best we can”.

Gilardino is however satisfied with the performance: “We created a lot without being able to finalize, but we have to remain very calm and lucid in these moments”. Finally, the Tuscan coach comments on the expulsion of Nzola in the final (kicking Keita after losing the ball): “He did something stupid. He’s a player of his experience should not make such mistakes. Now he will be disqualified, then he will leave for the Africa Cup of Nations and we will have to do without him for many matches”.

Pisa general manager Giovanni Corrado also pulls Nzola&#8220s ears: “We fought so hard to delay his call-up to the national team, evidently we lost time. It will mean that when he returns he will owe us a few goals. Market? Meanwhile we think about Lecce, then we will make all our evaluations. The championship is very long and the standings are short”.
