Fiorentina, first win: manita at'Udinese with double for Moise Kean
Fibrentina’s first league win of the season came in the sixteenth day by overwhelming Udinese 5-1, which was left in a numerical inferiority after just seven minutes due to Okoye’s expulsion. At the Franchi, the initial protest gave way to applause, thanks to excellent performances by Gudmundsson and Fagioli and a double by Moise Kean, in goal after Mandragora, the same Gudmundsson and Ndour. Useless was the guest flag goal sealed by Solet when the score was already 4-0.
The match was also marked by a strong and symbolic choice: the change of captain. For the challenge against Udinese, coach Paolo Vanoli decided to entrust the armband to David De Gea, despite the presence from the first minute of Luca Ranieri, designated captain, and Rolando Mandragora, vice-captain. A decision officially communicated by the club through its social channels with the publication of the lineup that took the field at 6 p.m. at the Franchi for a match that could not be missed.
As far as the market is concerned, Fabio Paratici is expected to move to the riva all’Arno to assume the role of director of the technical area. Born in 1972, a former midfielder for, among others, Piacenza, Fiorenzuola, Pavia, Novara, Palermo, Giugliano and Brindisi, Fabio Paratici began his career as sporting director, at the end of his career as a player, at Sampdoria, under the guidance of the then Blucerchiato general manager Beppe Marotta, whom he would also follow to Juventus.
