Olimpia Milano: recharge batteries and get Bolmaro back as soon as possible

The‘Olimpia returned from Dubai with a defeat. The second consecutive one in the Euroleague, after the domestic misstep with Fenerbahce. At the moment, the red-and-whites have a 50-50 record in winning the European tournament (9-9), which is worth 11th place in the standings.

The feeling is that Olimpia has come to these final dates with short breath. The crowded infirmary didn&#8217t help, as did the absence especially of Bolmaro, that is, the most defensively skilled red and white guard. It is no coincidence that, without him, Milan has struggled against opponents “endowed” with level-headed guards, such as Fenerbahce and Dubai for that matter (Horton-Tucker and Bacon).

Bolmaro is the classic equalizer, the one who can be decisive even without scoring avalanches of points. Ellis has been touching in all these games where he has had to play a lot but, having Bolmaro back (and a Mannion in acceptable condition) is vital for the continuation of the season.

They have been a great help to the team.

Now Milan will spend a few days off before returning to the court on Monday, Dec. 29, at the’former Palalido against Cremona. It cannot be ruled out that Coach Poeta may decide to rest some bigs in the upcoming championship challenge.
