Serie A 2025-2026: Pisa-Juventus, the probable formations

Juventus arrives at Saturday night’s Arena Garibaldi match against Pisa with high spirits and the knowledge that they can play for a place in the noble zones of the standings. After the successes against Bologna and Roma, Spalletti’s team faces a struggling opponent, stuck on 11 points and without a win since the beginning of November, although it was able to snatch a valuable draw in Cagliari thanks to Moreo’s flick in the final.

For the Bianconeri, it could be the night of an unexpected tactical choice: Weston McKennie, who has just returned, is in fact a candidate to occupy one of the two places on the three-quarter alongside Yildiz. In front, the duel between David and Openda remains open, with the Canadian slightly ahead. On the flanks will act Cambiaso and Kostic, practically without alternatives given the absence of Cabal and Conceiçao, while in the middle will be Locatelli and Thuram. In defense, Koopmeiners are confirmed alongside Kalulu and Bremer.

Gilardino’s Pisa, penultimate and in need of points, will start again with the 3-5-2 seen in Cagliari. The’only doubt concerns the central third to flank Canestrelli and Caracciolo, with Bonfanti and Calabresi vying for a shirt. In the middle, Touré, Piccinini, Aebischer and Højlholt are confirmed, while on the outside lanes, Angori is still counted on. Going forward, the Nerazzurri coach seems intent on giving continuity to the Meister-Tramoni tandem, preferred by Moreo, who should start from the bench and then take over in the final.

Probable lineups

Pisa (3-5-2): Semper; Canestrelli, Caracciolo, Bonfanti; Tourè, Piccinini, Aebischer, Hojholt, Angori; Meister, Tramoni. All. Gilardino.

Juventus (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Koopmeiners; Cambiaso, Locatelli, Thuram, Kostic; McKennie, Yildiz; David. All. Spalletti.
