Strengthened by a sportingly positive period, with the victories in recent weeks against Como and Lecce that have calmed an environment on which weighed a few too many draws, AC Milan is approaching on the field to Sunday night’s big match against Roma and behind the desk to the last days of a winter soccer market that, so far, has seen the Rossoneri protagonists of only one major operation: the arrival of Niclas Füllkrug on loan from West Ham United, with the right of redemption in favor of the Diavolo.

Questioned, during the press conference presenting the trip to the Capital, about the possibility of welcoming new elements in these last days of the winter soccer market, Massimiliano Allegri did not hide his opinion, starting precisely from the German’s excellent start with the Rossoneri jersey: “I can say that the arrival of Füllkrug turned out to be a really apt choice: he gave us an important hand right from the start. The company is working and evaluating carefully, and I am very satisfied with the available roster. I repeat: either we take action to really improve it, or it”s right to stay as it is.

“We also have youngsters who arrived in the summer, such as Athekame and Odogu, who are growing very well– continued the coach from Livorno. I am also happy with this: the key thing is that everyone continues to play with conviction, keeping clear the goal of getting into the top four. From the outside it always looks easy but getting there is very complicated, especially with very competitive teams and coaches like Conte, Spalletti and Gasperini, who almost every year hit that goal”.

In addition to the signing of Füllkrug, the only other market transaction made by Milan in this winter session concerns Kevin Zeroli: the former Milan Future, who had started this season at Monza, has in fact returned to base shortly after the Epiphany, being once again transferred on loan to Serie B but this time to Juve Stabia.

In the meantime, the Rossoneri are also about to welcome back to the attack the purchase of last year&#8217s winter campaign, Mexican Santiago Gimenez. Out with an ankle problem since last November, the former Feyenoord man said he is ready to return to the field and contend with the newcomer for the starting center forward spot.

The rossoneri are also about to welcome back the newcomer.
